I almost like the black and white one better.. it feels like a fifties educational cartoon.

I like the black and white one,too. Very nice.
It looks like Ray in about 7 years, except he wouldn't have a kitty. He'd have his fish tank. And I'd be 32! 32 years old with a nine-year-old. And we'd still be friends?
I agree, the black and white. For some reason, the colored version reminds me of something out of an LDS children's or one of those "Values" children's books. That's not a bad thing, but the black and white is just better I think. :)
kitty makes me feel uncomfortable like the boy is the pet and kitty in the homeowner. i hate kitties.
