only had time for 30 second gestures today... but i WILL return people!!! i will!!! some are good.. others suck... but all... were drawn in 30 seconds.

that's right.. you read correctly... a new post every DAY.....So i've committed to myself to draw everyday for at LEAST an hour... i should have been doing this a LONG time ago but alas... i had not had a complete "AH HAH!!" moment. and now i have.. so there. here's a sassy little number i worked on this evening... i like her a lot (and wish i had her body).

My sister told me this story about my nephew and how he was proud that he had escaped his car seat. She said he was huffing and puffing his chest out like a man when it happened.... it inspired me to draw this sketch.

creating my own invites

so.. here are the invitations i've created for lucas' baby shower.... they are simple but i didn't want to stress out about them... if i love you, then you may be getting one in the mail in coming months if you are a texan... :) if not to THIS shower... then the one at the beginning of the year in utah. (and yes, the theme is monsters and ugly dolls)

I think this picture explains how we feel about Lucas... a little weary of if we'll be good parents... and i suspect he feels the same way... i guess we'll just have to get through it together. *sigh*.... three more months to go.
