I went to visit Pascal's blog the other day and was super inspired to try a really bold color experiment.. i was second guessing myself all the way through this one. Jeez color is hard.

If i start running....

...will i get to have her body? probably not. There's no harm in trying though.

Sorry about the quality.. i was too lazy to use my scanner for these so i just took a picture...

My first REAL attempt at painting for real.

Okay... so i know what you're thinkin'... whatever lindsay! you've painted before! i've seen it!.... yeah... but what you DIDN'T know is that i didn't try very hard and would get frustrated with ALL of my previous paintings and then just give up and hang it up anyway because it passed the Enos test. This, however, is no longer a good enough test for me... it needs to pass MY inspection.. i need to feel proud of SOME sort of art that i've physically done and isn't just a bunch of zeros and ones on the computer.... so here it is.... it DID cause me a lot of stress because i kept wanting to give up... but i'm glad i didn't... and i'm fairly happy with the result considering it was my first.
