I'm a liar...get over it.

Yes, it's true... i lie about all my commitments.. if say i'll call you back... i won't. if i say i'll be there... nope. and last but not least... if i SAY i'll post... it won't only NOT happen... it will take several weeks or even MONTHS until i'll actually post again. So there. take that World!!! here are some posts... don't expect anything from me ever again. :) ps. the thing the dog is saying is based on a special i saw on tv about how they are teaching dogs how to sniff out cancer... it works!! weird....

Cake Decorating Graduation

This is my cake decorating final. No we weren't graded but judging from the misplaced flowers i'd say i get a B. It was oh so delicious though with it's strawberry/cream cheese filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. mmm. I'm so glad i took this class so i can learn to be really creative with my cakes.....and i'm taking the fondant and gum paste class in the fall so i can someday be the ace of cakes. :) Ha. Oh... and my computer works now so... i'll try and post more than never.

A very sad computer day.

Welp... it happened. Our home computer eventually slowed to a complete stop. Enos and i didn't know that the "new" hard drive put into his computer a few years ago by a friend actually had spyware on it that ate at windows making his computer progressively slower until a couple of days ago it just STOPPED. so i'm stuck without a computer at home which means no new posts for a while. I know, i've done this before WITHOUT my computer being lifeless... but at least this time my excuse is legitimate. :) Until then...

The Palm Tree Experience

Sooo... i made this cake for my cake decorating class... and it looks like this.... it was REALLY delicious. I used a cinnamon swirl cake mix that was really moist and tasted just like a cinnamon roll. DELICIOUS... the design was okay... i had too many greens going on because basically i was trying to finish it really fast so my guests could eat it. I don't think you can tell here but i did stars for the leaves and coconuts (which don't really show up) but yeah... i had carpal tunnel afterwards...ha. :)

So... it's been about what... 5 or 6 weeks since i've seen my friend janae... not as a dead baby oven zombie that is... it made me think... hmm... when was the last time i remember her not being that way..... well... here it is. how sad.

Hideousness in the Years of Yore

This is a hideous picture of enos and i.... it's from last summer. I can honestly say i think we've improved in our looks and spiritually too... but mostly physically... i'll post to show our progress... as far as blogging goes.... I just wanted to let everyone know that i'll be posting toMORROW. i was too busy and tired and SICK... yes... SICK... to post something tonight.... okay okay... so i've been on hiatus....but i'm back now and im gonna change the format of this blog a little. I'm gonna give myself assignments but i need ideas for things to draw. These will just be sketchy fun drawings... nothing too finished. PS. i got a new job so i've actually been busy as opposed to where i USED to work. okay enough of that... i'll be making my first new post this weekend... that's right.... you won't have to look at those bloody mermaids anymore and long to kill me in your sleep, anymore.... all new drawings will be spewing out, all over the place!!! (that sounds wrong.) until then......

Three Little Mermaids...

Wow... it's really hard for me to draw mermaids without someone saying.. "she looks like ariel!" i think i accomplished it though... this is a christmas present for my niece who LOVES mermaids.

Okay, i don't know why i did this christmas card... i was just bored and began making shapes in photoshop which turned into this. Also, here are two more drawings... i suck at painting...so... take these what they are worth... i'll learn to paint someday... it's on the list of things to learn to do... oh... also... i made some strange christmas ornaments for my baby apartment christmas tree...they are based off of a lot of things but mostly cali rezo's dolls and uglydolls.com. I'll post those soon...

The beauty of white trash

Whenever i see pictures like this... i can't fathom that these people actual exist. It's like the feeling you get when you see african tribal people, you think, "how can people still function like this.." but such is the white trash breed of humans. I was inspired TWICE by the same picture to interpret this picture and so i did. I'm not finished but i did want to post these since i promised my sister i would. I'll update them as i go along. okay. I guess that's it.

Raymond's Birthday

This is a card i did for my friend's son who was having a birthday. It was really fun to do because i've never done this style before AND im not really familiar with painter 8 so this helped me a little bit. i've blurred out the address under WHERE and the rsvp phone number for privacy reasons obviously. I feel like it probably needs some color correction because it looks blown out on the computer screen I'M viewing it on but on my laptop (where i made it) it looked fine so... i guess it's up to the mamama.
